The strong winds continued Sunday, with the threat of fire weather danger persisting as well.
Several advisories remain in place through Sunday evening, including a small craft advisory and high surf advisory as our wave heights remain at 8-11 feet.
Many of these advisories expire as our next weather system comes in on Monday, raising our temperatures by several degrees and dropping our humidity levels.
This combination will continue to bring concerns of fire weather as the Central Coast is on track to become very warm and dry.
There is potential for a Santa Ana wind event Thursday, which can easily spread fires as well.
We are not anticipating our marine layer to return for several days, so very little reprieve from the heat.
Stay safe out there!
